“STREET FIGHTER” RELEASES IN CINEMAS ON 16TH OCTOBER 2026

The first look at the highly anticipated Street Fighter film, alongside a full suite of character posters, was unveiled at The Game Awards late last year. Cast members made a surprise appearance at the event to introduce the exclusive sneak peek and showcase the film’s roster of iconic fighters.

The film stars Noah Centineo as Ken Masters and Andrew Koji as Ryu, alongside Callina Liang as Chun-Li. The ensemble cast also includes Joe “Roman Reigns” Anoai as Akuma, David Dastmalchian as M. Bison and Cody Rhodes as Guile.

Additional cast members include Andrew Schulz as Dan Hibiki, Vidyut Jammwal as Dhalsim, Orville Peck as Vega, Olivier Richters as Zangief, Rayna Vallandingham as Juli and Mel Jarnson as Cammy. Jason Momoa appears as Blanka and also serves as a producer on the film.

The first-look footage and accompanying character posters offered audiences an early glimpse into the film’s visual style and interpretation of the globally recognised Capcom franchise, highlighting 17 fan-favourite characters.

Set in 1993, Street Fighter follows estranged fighters Ryu and Ken as they are drawn into the World Warrior Tournament by Chun-Li. As the competition unfolds, a wider conspiracy emerges, forcing them to confront both their pasts and each other.

Directed by Kitao Sakurai, the film brings the legendary arcade title to the big screen with its signature characters and high-impact action.

Street Fighter will be released exclusively in cinemas on 16th October 2026.
