SUNDAY TIMES BEST SELLING AUTHOR, HUSSAIN MANAWER fundraiser for medical aid palestine

In London, on the 19th of November the atmosphere at 2Northdown was charged with emotion as globally acclaimed poet and Sunday Times Best Selling Author, Hussain Manawer, took to the stage for a mesmerizing one-man acoustic show. Returning after six years since his inaugural showcase at this iconic venue, Manawer captivated the audience with his unique blend of poignant poetry and heartfelt storytelling.

The 90-minute performance featured pieces from his debut collection, "Life Is Sad And Beautiful”. Hussain, who calls himself The Original Mummy’s Boy, shared intimate reflections on life, love, and the human experience, weaving a tapestry of emotions through his carefully crafted verses. Also supporting the evening with performances of poetry and music were from actor Fady Elsayed, actress Saida Ahmed, poet Mascuud and Indian classical musician Gurbaksh Matharu.

What made this event even more special was its altruistic purpose. All proceeds from the night were dedicated to supporting Medical Aid Palestine, showcasing Manawer's commitment to using his art to make a positive impact on the world.

Attendees had the opportunity to take home a piece of the evening, as signed copies of Manawer’s debut poetry book "Life Is Sad and Beautiful" were available for purchase. This not only allowed the audience to connect with the poet's work on a personal level but also contributed to the ongoing support for Palestinians.
