Dogwoof has unveiled the official trailer for The Cycle Of Love, which will release in UK and Irish cinemas nationwide on 18th September 2026, following its World Premiere at the Telluride Film Festival, where it captivated audiences.
Starring Mumbai-born British stage and screen actor Chirag Lobo, the film brings to life one of India’s most extraordinary real-life love stories. Lobo stars as PK Mahanandia, a young Delhi street artist whose life changes forever when he meets Lotta, a Swedish woman travelling through India.
Based on the remarkable true story of renowned Indian artist PK Mahanandia, The Cycle Of Love follows PK, a 23-year-old artist from a poor, ‘untouchable’ family who, in 1977, set out on an extraordinary 6,000-mile journey across continents armed with little more than a handful of paintbrushes and a second-hand bicycle. Determined to reunite with the woman who had captured his heart, PK embarks on a life-changing adventure that transcends borders, social barriers and seemingly impossible odds.
Set against the backdrop of 1970s India, The Cycle Of Love is a powerful and uplifting story of hope, resilience and self-belief.
